ZalKon green tech investment ideas are now on Substack

ZalKon is a newsletter focused on investment ideas in line with a sustainable future for humanity, like electric vehicles, renewable energy, and the materials needed to produce those technologies.
It is run by myself, Fred Lambert, editor-in-chief of Electrek. I have been researching electric vehicles and green technologies for 13 years and over the last 5 years, I built an audience of over 10 million readers who read my insights and news about the industry at Electrek.
After pausing ZalKon for a year due to the insane state of the world and how it affected the public markets, we are now relaunching the service via Substack, which is much better suited for what we want to do.
The first few stock ideas that we shared turned out to be quite successful, to say the least.
Niu is up over 300% since we discussed it. American Manganese is up over 400%. Arcimoto is up over 600%, and Polaris Infrastructures is up over 60%.
Our only loser was Nemaska Lithium where we got screwed by the private investors that were part of the financing deal. It was really disappointing, but a good learning experience.
Now that the health situation around the world appears to be stabilizing and it looks like it’s not quite the end of the world just yet, we are ready to get back to our regular green tech investment ideas and there’s no better time to do it.
The transition to sustainability is accelerating at an impressive pace and I think it’s time to invest in the companies that are part of that transition.
I have quite a few interesting ideas that I can’t wait to share with you guys. We are talking about EV companies, battery companies, battery material mining companies, renewable energy generation companies, and more.
As usual keep in mind that my investment ideas are not recommendations to buy any securities. They serve mainly to put some companies on your radar and you should always do your own due diligence before investing.
You can subscribe to the newsletter ($20 per month or $200 per year) to get the latest idea and access to the archive of posts.
Each new idea will come in the form of a newsletter directly in your email’s inbox.
You can also give a subscription to someone as a gift through email. It could be a good idea for someone you know who is getting into investing in green technologies.
Everyone who still had an active account on the Paypal subscription service had their subscription canceled and should have received a year of free subscription to the ZalKon newsletter via Substack as a thank you for your commitment.
The first investment idea will be posted soon, likely by the end of the week. While I’m aiming for at least one new investment idea per month, I won’t commit to that since it would incentivize me to post ideas that are not necessarily full-fledged and that’s obviously not a great idea.
I’m looking forward to getting into this sustainable investment journey with you.
